This quote is ironic because being dead in the picture is fine, but when you have to explain to people that you are actually alive, it is not. Being dead in the picture is great because there are no worries about being laughed at or mocked.

But, when you have to explain to people that you are actually alive and what you do for a living, it becomes a little more difficult. If your friends don’t know what you do for a living, they will make assumptions and often times this leads to ridicule. The irony of this quote is that if people don’t believe that you are actually alive, then they will assume that you aren’t and really laugh at your appearance.
